WELCOME TO THE CITIZEN PORTAL
If you have used the Citizen Portal to make an application in the past, please check that your address, telephone number, etc. in the 'My account' section are still correct, and update them if they are not, before you make your new application.
If you are helping a friend/family member to apply, please ensure the parent's details (name, address, phone number, email address, etc.) are given in the 'My account' section, not yours. The parent needs to be present when the application is submitted to confirm that they have parental responsibility for the child and that all the details submitted are correct.
SCHOOL ADMISSIONS PROCESSES
Starting Secondary School
For applications to start Y7 in September 2025, the online admissions system will be available from 12 September 2024 until 31 October 2024 for children born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014.
Starting Primary School
For applications to start Reception in September 2025, the online admissions system will be available from 18 November 2024 until 15 January 2025 for children born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021.
In Year Applications
It is now possible to make in year applications through this online system. Please ensure you submit any application within three days of starting it. Any applications not submitted after three days will not be processed. Please contact schooladmissions@bradford.gov.uk if you require further advice.
SEND PROCESSES
This system can be used to request an Education, Health & Care Assessment (EHCA) or to provide information related to the EHCA process as requested. Please click on 'Special educational needs and disabilities' to proceed.
2 YEAR OLD FUNDING
This system can be used to check eligibility for a funded place for your 2 year old child. Please click on '2yr funding - Terrific Twos' to proceed.
